Nursery Rhymes

For Friday's activity we asked our friends to practice a nursery rhyme. Nursery rhymes are important when learning to read. They help develop an ear for our language. Both rhyme and rhythm help tamariki hear the sounds and syllables in words, which helps kids learn to read!
